Ed Jones has more than 30 years of experience in aerospace, defense and high-technology-related industries. Prior to his founding of Export Management Services, Inc., (EMSI), he was president of CSC Professional Services Group, Inc., a $175 million high-tech services company with over 2.000 employees worldwide.
In his 11 years with PSG and its predecessor companies, Jones held senior positions in line management, strategic planning and marketing. He was a key participant in the acquisition of 10 companies, founded three off-shore subsidiaries, and developed a $75 million consulting, logistic support and sytems engineering business in Europe, Canada and the Far East.
Prior to joining PSG, he was with Rockwell International Corporation for 10 years in various line and marketing assignments. In Hong Kong, he held the position of Vice President, Far East, where he was responsible for all corporate activities in the region, including subsidiary and dealer management. Jones retired from the U. S. Marine Corps in 1973 after more than 20 years of service in communications/electronics, including two tours of duty in Vietnam.
Jones among our other business gurus is well-versed in all phases of strategic planning process and in the development of team strategies, including licensing agreements. He has directed large dealer networks throughout the world and has hands-on experience in the protocol and culture of Europe, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim.
As president of EMSI, Jones provides overall strategic direction and is the primary interface with the chief executives of client companies. He also selects and manages agents and dealers in international markets. Jones serves at a senior level in a number of professional and industry associations.
